Opportunity Bank of Montana

100 years of serving Montana

Providing strong financial futures for Montanans is Opportunity Bank’s business, and they do a great job of it in Big Timber! Their local team has strong ties to this community, helping individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations. Through contributions to qualified nonprofit organizations and funding of an Endowment Fund, Opportunity Bank supports activities which address the needs of our communities.

Although Opportunity Bank of Montana was formed in Helena, Montana, in in August of 1922 as American Building and Loan, it has expanded to more than a $1.3 billion community bank with 24 locations across Montana. They offer customers a full range of banking, lending, agricultural, and digital services.

“It is important to me that community banking remains aligned with the communities we serve. Understanding those needs and relating to our customers translates into how we can best do business in Big Timber and Sweet Grass County.”
